Explosives Safety & Ammunition Management
Work in the explosives sector can, by its very nature, be hazardous, and the consequences of a related incident can be severe. The best way to mitigate this danger is with a well-trained workforce who understand the hazards and how best to manage them. To achieve this, it is incumbent upon organizations to ensure their employees are conversant, and readily comply with the many and varied statutory regulations governing their daily activity.
The regulations, which cover both civilian and military applications, require personnel working in the explosive sector to demonstrate competency through training. WCTS has a wealth of knowledge in the area of National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Explosive Substances and Articles (ESA); WCTS can provide advice, guidance and assistance across a range of explosive safety and management, including storage, transportation, handling processes, operating procedures and safe disposal training.
